Wendt Racing is returning for the 2010 racing season to Stockton 99
Speedway.
Wendt Racing will also be starting a 2nd team, racing the Bomber
division with first time racer Matt Wendt

In
2009 Wendt Racing with driver Michael Wendt ran a part time schedule at Stockton
99 Speedway.
We had several top 5 finishes, a trophy dash win, and a main
event win.

Wendt Racing is currently preparing for the 2007 racing season. A schedule of races will be up shortly. We plan on running a custom schedule that includes Altamont and Roseville speedways. Check back for more updates.
Wendt Racing is also currently working on a new shop
that will be ready to go for the 2008 racing season. Here is a picture of the
new shop and a picture of the epoxy floor coating being
applied.

July 8th, Altamont, qualified 4th, Won the Dash, led a few laps in the main before getting spun out and did not finish.

July 1st, stockton 99 speedway, qualified 3rd, almost won the dash(was spun out), Finished 5th in the main.

5/10/06, This last Saturday Wendt Racing made its first trip to Altamont. The track was awesome. In Practice I was fourth fast, some issues before quailfying came up causing us not to quailfy well. We ended up 16th, which put us in the 24 car starting grid. In the race the car was awesome, I went from 16th to 7th in 10 laps. I was passing for 6th and the car on the outside was trying to cut down on me so I couldn't get by. He ended up hitting me and spinning himself out, and of course I was blamed. On the next restart, the car wouldn't go into second gear, after several attempts I pulled off the track. Wendt Racing will have the car back in racing shape in a few weeks at Stockton 99 speedway.

4/26/06, Sorry for the late update, I have been busy. we had our first race, there were about 35 cars. We qualified 7th, we would of qualified better but the car got real tight with the hoosier rubber that was on the track. In the race I got into another car and knocked my tow way out. We decided to pull the car in to prevent more damage. Our next race is coming up May 6 at Altamont. Click here for the race article or more info on the next race.

4/2/06, Well our first race is postponed to next sunday due to wet conditions at the track. We were still able to take the car out yesterday, the car handled great for the first time back out. We had a few issues that need to be addressed which should make us even faster. Here are a few pics.

Update 3/27/06, Our first race for the 2006 is coming fast, it is this sunday April 2. We will be hitting the track friday for practice, if needed we will also practice on saturday. Entry list and more race info can be found at www.westcarseries.com
